Centum City, a new urban development project in Busan, has become Korea’s most sought-out shopping destination and a major symbol of all things fashion. Centum City is home to Shinsegae Centum City, the largest department store in the world, as well as the Lotte Department Store, an established favorite when it comes to luxury brands. Not only are visitors drawn to the city for its posh shopping options, but also for its variety of nearby tourist attractions like the Haeundae Beach (the largest beach in Korea), the Busan Aquarium, and the Nurimaru APEC House. The word ‘centum’ is derived from the Latin word for “100” and Centum City, true to its name, gives visitors and residents hundreds of fun things to do every day.
