Lake Saifulmuluk , Naran, Pakistan



Lake Saiful Muluk is located in the high mountain ranges of the Karakorum and rests at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley. It is in the north east of the Mansehra District of the Khyber.
Pakhtunkhwa Province and is approximately 14 Kilometers from Naran. At an altitude of 3,224 m
(10,578 feet) above sea level, it is amongst one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. 

The water is very clear with a slight green color to it. The clarity of the water comes from the multiple glaciers of the Malka Parbat surrounding the high basin which feed the lake. Lake Saiful Muluk is considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Pakistan. The weather at the lake is moderate during daytime and drops below 0 degrees celsius at night. The lake is accessible by a 14 km road from Naran during the summer months. On foot, the hike from Naran to the lake takes from 3 to 6 hours.
